On a good day, I'd write two or three letters. Indignation comes fairly easy with practice. The newspapers got used to all the letters, of course, so getting one published nationally like this one didn't happen very often. I think I got another one printed in the Guardian (link), and one more in the Daily Mail (link).

Printed in the Independent (link) on 1 April 2004, this is a good example of the type of work I did at the Green Party -- scanning the daily newspapers for hot button Green Party isues, ghosting indignant letters to the editor, and then clearing those letters with the appropriate green party spokespeople.
