Chris Ladd is originally from the small town of Wayne, Maine, population 1,149, located near the thriving metropolis of Winthrop, which lies not far from Maine's bustling capital city of Augusta. Wayne, of course, is the famed birthplace of General George K. Broomhall, who, after considerable service rendered to his country, invented Cream Soda.

Chris attended Wayne Elementary School, showing considerable aptitude both in art and in writing. His talent for the former, however, was crushed early on, and never fully matured.

After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the sixth grade, Chris entered Maranacook Community School, a gritty, inner city lyceum which marked the youth's first encounter with the thesaurus, a book which he would later say transmogrified his sentience. Maranacook, or "M.C.S." as it was known, housed 784 students from the toughest hamlets and villages Maine had to offer, including Wayne, Manchester, Mt. Vernon, Readfield, and Fayette. It was at Maranacook that Chris decided he would become a rock star.

When it was discovered that Chris did not have the requisite "talent" to accomplish this feat, he pursued fame in other areas.

Tragically, this is where Chris's public records end. It has been supposed that, out of cash, he could no longer justify the long hours toiling away at his meaningless biography, and was forced instead to leave his keyboard and research a story he was working on. Others suspect that since his crushing last place finish at the National Monopoly Tournament in 1995, he has simply lost interest in himself.
